Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.)  partners with many HISD Departments to support students and families on their educational path to provide resources to help your child at home.


H.I.P.P.Y. programs empower parents as primary educators of their children in the home and foster parent involvement in school and community life to maximize the chances of successful early school experiences.

Books that may be above your child's reading level may be just right for a parent read aloud. Older students love chapter books, and there are some picture books that have amazing story lines and vocabulary to increase your child's comprehension skills.
